This is Lorena Angulo and I want to share with you my experience with the newest PMC in the market.
PMC Pro was introduced during the PMC conference in Perdue last year. Metal Clay Artists Magazine talks about it in the latest issue, if you do not have this issue you still can buy it here.
In my personal blog, I shared my experience and the pieces I made with my 25 grams of PMC Pro.
Do you want to take a look at them?
Visit these links and let me know what you think about it.
This is my first ring I made with PMC Pro.
Have you played with this clay yet?
We will love to know what you think.
Hope my postings help you in any way and if you have not tried the PMC Pro yet, give it a change !
Keep Playing !! Keep Creating !!

I've tried it--and love it! I made an experimental piece--to test the strength and to see what it could do. I could feel the flexibility while in the green state and was impressed! I could not get over how long I could work with it, and all the ways I could add clay to clay. I broke my ring in several places and repaired one spot before it was fired, and another spot after firing. I did find it more difficult to polish than fine silver, as I love a mirror finish. It's part of my repertoire now!!
ReplyDeleteLorena--I love your ring!! I tried PMC Pro over Christmas time, and I made two things from the 25gram pk. One of them was a ring for myself. How much more copper is in Pro compared to Sterling silver? When I take the new ring off--I have a green band on my finger? I don't have this happen with S/S.
ReplyDeleteKim: Thank You !!
ReplyDeleteSterling silver is 92.5% silver and 7.5% of other metals, usually it is copper.
So, the difference is 2.5% more of copper for the PRO.
Did you like working with it?
